Amp wiring/install

Hey guys,
Stupid question, I am going to be installing a wiring kit for my amp/subs... Question is, since there is 2 batteries, what battery to I put my power cable to? Does it matter? Don't want to put 24 volts to my amp by accident. Sorry for the ignorance.
Thanks

Either one will work fine. It's a 12v system.

Two 12v batteries wired in parallel nets you 12v with double the capacity.

By contrast, two 12v batteries wired in series would net you 24v with a capacity approx. equal to the capacity of the weaker battery.

Yes, sir.

As long as you're not on the injector side of the FICM (not gonna happen), its all 12v.
