how to bypass EMG park feature for dvd while driving

i bought a pioneer 3200 dvd player head unit and it wkont let you play dvd unless the emergency brake is pressed? anyway to bypass it?/

yea they sell a switchless kit on ebay...type in pioneer 3200 bypass and it will come up...i just ordered one for my 3200bt and it was 10$...no switches to flip, automatic

WOW thanks i knew there had to be a way. Do you know if you just hook up that green wire to that relay?? I really dont want to take apart my dashAGAIN to hook it up to the back of the head unit

no, it hooks up to 3 wires back there, so you would have to take it apart...

oh yeah, dont get the ones in the little crack baggie...lol. get the one that shows a pioneer box behind it...other one has some kinda switch, then you have to figure out where to stick it, plus its ugly

i know with my pioneer it was a matter of just moving one wire. there is a few pioneer forums i believe and they should have step by steps.

It works off of a ground but you do not want to have it on a constant ground. Theres a couple different ways of doing it you can run a toggle switch to ground. The way I did it was use my upfitter switch to power a relay which grounded the stereo wire. Or you can install the relay and use the preamp power wire from the stereo to activate the relay that way its bypassed every time you turn it on.
