HIDS Tripped ABS Light

So, yesterday I was driving around yesterday and I figured since my HIDS didn't come with the "HI" option I'd see what would happen if I tried flipping the switch. Much to my surprise my lights went out when activated and when I let off my ABS light came on for a second and my truck missed? I'm thinking because maybe because there was a power surge that went back into the ballast once they went out and came right back on?

Hey bud, my truck does the same thing. I can't figure it out, I don't think it will hurt anything. I don't use the auto on the switch, I turn mine on manually. I'm wondering if its not interference with the ABS controller?

Mine actually work great, and I keep the switch on auto. Like I said before it only did it when I tried activating the highs? I was just wanting to see if the lights would go off or stay on. That way I could warn my wife if she ever decided to try the highs.

I upped the fuse and haven't had any issues.Same issues though or light would go on if I turned them on manually.

my abs light kicks on when i flip my fogs on.

alternator cant push enough to initially supply the HIDs and the computer so it causes the computer to "hick up" as my mechanic says

get ya a 200 amp alternator and 'beef' it up as they say

That's exactly what it did. My truck "hick upped" and the abs light flickered once I let off the turn signal. I wonder if that's a sign my alernator is getting ready to go? My CS shows my batteries are being charged at over 14 while going down the road. I was thinking that was good?
