Scan Gauge
Thinking about purchasing a ScanGuage II($135.00) and was wondering if anyone has experience with it will reading FICM voltage. ScanGuage says if it comes out of the port it will read it.

Hmmm.... I haven't found the FICM readings on mine. I'll have to see what I can find on Wednesday. (my day off)
For the price you are getting it for is a steal. I paid $169 for mine earlier this summer. Any techs out there read the FICM at work through the port? |

Yes, it reads FICM voltage. Both voltage in and voltage out (that's what we wanna see, 48v.) If you buy it from BulletProofDiesel, it comes pre-programmed with the X-gauges, FICM voltage included.

It has a larger range which was needed because the standard gauge tops out around 37 psi absolute (about 22 lbs of boost), which diesels have no problem doing. This one should read well beyond 22lbs of boost. With a little tweaking you can adjust this to read boost as you said.
