headlight indicator position switch doesnt light up

Well like the title says the truck light indicator for the running and headlights wont light up when the switch is rotated to turn them on. However the running and headlights do come on perfectly. The only position which the position light works for is when I pull the switch out the fog light position turns on as the fogs turn on.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I am lost over how to fix it and I really don't want to go to ford and drop 100 dollars for diagnosis and then whatever else it costs to fix.
