SRW Clearance Lights

So I am cruising down the highway the other night and I notice a SRW F250 that had the red/amber clearance lights around the rear wheel fenders like the DRW...I have never seen this before (on a SRW) and am under the assumption that this was not factory done..... anyone ever done this or have any pix? It looked kinda cool, but I am very reluctant to start drilling holes into the sides of my truck.....

In my opinion, it might look ok at night, but during the day I think it would look a bit odd. If I'm not mistaken those lights are normally somewhat embedded (not flush mounted).

My brother in law has these on his SRW. One of the state troopers in his area was giving him a lot of crap over having a lifted truck with wide tires and not having any kind of lights so he mounted these 1 on each fender.

True and I actually found some 3/4" clear flush mounted leds that look decent. I am just a bit apprehensive to pop four 3/4" holes in the sides of the truck.

exactly what I was thinking! And I saw those recon lights but I am not too fond of how far they will stick out. If I decide to do it, I am leaning forward the flush mounts
