VIPER - Truck
H3 Pink - White/Yellow or Red/Lt Green in ignition harness Red/White - Thick Yellow Wire in Ignition Harness Orange - Gray with yellow at fuse block Violette - Cut green starter wire in half and wire this to starter side of wire Green - Wire this to the Key side of the Green wire Red - Thick yellow Wire in ignition harness Pink/White - Red/Black Pink/Black - Not used Red/Black - Thick Yellow Wire in Ignition Harness H1 Red - any constant 12v source in the truck Brown - Siren White/Brown - Constant 12 v source Black - Ground Violette - Black with light blue ( this is your domelight wire. it is easiest accessed under the kick panel trim. the wire runs in a harness towards the underside of your drivers side front seat.) White - Brown wire at headlight switch. Remote Start Input black/ White - Ground Violette/White - Green/White (this wire is taped up in the same harness as the high idle mod wiring) Brown - Light Green at brake pedal switch Harness H2 is not used at all. don't even plug it in. Remote start auxiliary input harness is also no used. all other wires i didnt mention atop are also not used. trim them so they are just long enough so that if you need to reconnect something you can. Make sure and use the tach wire. i tried voltage and virtual tach and neither worked. my truck would start for 15 seconds and then try restarting. second i hooked the tach wire up and reprogrammed the remote start for tach learning it worked great. you should also reprogram the remote start to a 30 second delay and NOT the wait to start bulb. also make sure you reprogram it for an automatic tranny and not manual. also. if you havent moved on to door locks yet there a treat. they are 5 wire revers polarity and if you dont have a DEI 451M then your going to need 2 relays to make them work. then follow the diagram in the 5701 installation manual for the wiring diagram for type c door locks. |

H1 orange wire gets connected to nothing. that wire actually sends a -500 Ma signal when the alarm is armed. its used for window rolloup modules and the like

my door locks were no problem i just cant figure out why i cant start my truck with my key so i am looking for something to make sense of that

im willing to bet that you didnt hook up the flex relay wiring. if everything is hooked up the way i have above it should work. mine does
