2008-2010 tailgate backup camera ?'s

So I have the 2008-10 tailgate installed on my truck and have just ordered the tailgate handle with the camera hole from Tasca Ford parts. I also have an Eclipse double din touch screen that I will hook the camera to.

I already had the OEM camera that I ordered from ebay a while back..

The part number from the camera as shown in the pics below...AG1T-19G490-AA...

I am curious if this camera will work in the tailgate handle? Is this the same camera that they come with? I have seen a bunch of different ones, some being with a metal housing. This one I have doesnt have any type of mounting system.

Also it has 6 pins and ford wont sell me the wiring harness separately. Does anyone happen to have a diagram for which pin does what?

By tag bracket camera do you mean the one that goes in the ford emblem?

I actually ordered the handle from Tasca on Oct. 27th and they still have it as "on order" so I am going to cancel it tomorrow. I found a guy that will sell me the tailgate handle/camera/wiring harness out of a new takeoff for $235.00 shipped which is a steal so I am going to go that route and use the $70.00 from Tasca to put towards that. I am going to sell this camera back on ebay.

Maybe when I get the new one I can see which wires go where for this one.

Any update on this project? I am looking at buying a double DIN DVD player and am thinking about wiring up the tailgate camera in my 2010 tailgate, since its already there. Would be nice for when I am trying to back up to the car trailer with my topper on when I'm by myself. Its a real PITA!!

Yeah I have been pretty busy but I am pretty close to getting it done. It has been raining here in Cali (crazy i know) for like 9 days straight so I havent been able to work on it anymore since most of it that is left is just soldiering the wires and mounting them under the truck somehow.

Ill post a little write up when I am done with it.

I have a 2008 tailgate on my 2005 that already has the camera in it. I want to get it hooked up to either the rearview mirror (will have to buy) or to a touch screen double DIN stereo I haven't purchased yet. Just trying to figure out what's involved and what else i need. Where does the wiring for the tailgate handle camera come out? I'm not sure if it has the harness yet.
