Dimming lights?

06 F-250 Headlights go dim after 3-4 days, then if I drive it in the rain or wash it the lights go bright again. 3-4 days go by and repeat the same. Lights dim prob 40 to 50 %. Brand new alt and batts. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've checked the wires. Where is the ground for the headlights located?
