find the speaker and cover it with tape. i have an '02 and can cancel it with the seatbelt button but my brother's truck has one you can't cancel and it's covered with tape. can hardly hear it. only way to cancel it is to put the seatbelt on then take it off

go to a junk yard and get a seatbelt clip and leave it in so it fools it to thinking you have your seatbelt on....

I have this problem with my 99. I know this has been discussed on other threads. But hopefully someone on this thread has some more info. When I start the truck it dings and I hook the seat belt in and it stops. Occasionally it keeps dinging for about 30sec to a minute or so and stops. The other time it dings is when im coming into town 50-55mph and usually, not always, when i slow down to an idle at a stop light it will chime again until i get back up to speed. There is not relation to how fast im going. It doesn't consistently do this. But when it does its annoying. Im hoping someone has had this experience and has a good fix. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thank you |

I disabled mine by just unpluging the connection under the seat. Just look for the wire that goes up to the seat belt buckle and unplug it.

I tried unplugging the connection under the seat today. But unfortunately it didn't help :\ Has anyone else had this problem. Any help is appreciated. Ive heard of lubricating the door latches and possibly the hole underneath the latch on some trucks have a problem with a switch or something sticking inside?
