I-pod hookup for an 05?
Is there a way to make an i-pod hookup for an 05 F350 stock stereo? It is the stock single disk woth no casette. I see that there is a AUX button but it does nothing. I looked at the back of the stereo for RCA plugs, but no luck. has anyone found a way to use the ipod without using a fm modulator? thanks
Edit: used search and found answer. Should have done that first. Last edited by Jeeperman; 08-22-2010 at 10:24 PM. |

My attempt
I made the attempt to do the Ipod connection with my stock radio in my F350 I'll say this after spending 150 on the cable and taking out the stereo for the third time I had tried to splice it in but no luck. Evently after talking to the installers at Cartoons here in GA. They informed me that the axu. is only for over the IR Freqs like DVD players and Such and I had to replace the head unit if I wanted to us my Ipod permintally.

I was using a PIE box before I upgrade my head unit and it worked like a charm, I highly recommend it.
