noise from flasher box in dash help

ok i have an 03 250 and the little blue box in the dash under the radio is driveing me nuts. you can be driveing down the road it is start makeing noise squeling and the only way to make it stop is to turn the turn signal or the flashers on then it start clicking like it should but as soon and you turn the signal off it start squling makeing crazy noise. so last night i pulled the realy out ford part number tbb89 f65b-13350-aa has anyone else had this probem is it a bad turn signal switch or is this relay bad help please.

Can't say that I've had that problem but I do know that if one of your turn signal lamps is out, it will click faster when activated to let you know. Would check bulbs and swap relay with one of the others before spending the money on a new one.

I just started experiencing this same problem on friday, first my flasher fuse fried and after replacing it same exact thing as you, so today i went to ford and spent 25 bucks on a new flasher relay which didnt do anything. So then i was thinking that maybe i had some bare wire somewhere going to my headache rack lights but the weird thing is this weird buzzing only happens when the ignition is in "on" if I have the key off or in accessory mode the relay doesnt make a peep and the flashers work just fine, soooooo ...im gonna start shaking some more wires any help would be awesome, --03 F250 7.3
