sub in a reg cab?
ive got a regular cab with a bench seat and was looking at putting a 10" sub in it (i dont want anything obnoxious, just enough to feel the music), are there any pre fit boxes that will work? i think its MTX has the behind the seat for 2 10s but i was looking to spend less then $300 for it

I think JL makes a stealthbox that fits under the bench seat.
Got their console stealthbox in mine - sounds great. Adds punch without drowning everything else out. It's a pricey setup, got mine from ebay for $300. More like $500-600 new. |

i made a custom one that fits behind the seat but a ported ten takes double the room of a sealed box but the ported sounds alot better imo. its all personal preference.

I'm with ya man and certainly understand. Built the Box around the specs of the Sub. Each sub has a required/recommended amount of airspace. You can substitute a little ait space for wadding which slows down the air. I went with the Rockford b/c it required the least amount of airspace (0.8 cubic ft) and picked it up new for about $30.
