ok got the switch, $37.50 perks of father in law being ford mechanic.
any how tore into the dash and can not find the harness to plug in, is my truck not equiped with the harness? where do i go from here? there are 4 pig tail wires(red, blue, black and white) under the hood in the drivers side corner closest to the cab. i was under the impression those were the ends of where the upfitter switch ![]() my truck is a 05 f250 lariat any help would be great |

The switches normally go to a fuse box behind the glove box and then terminate behind the the fuse panel in the driver side. the 4 wires under the hood are not the upfitter wires. Those are wires that ford ran and connect to nothing on either end so that a hole would not need to be drilled to run anything under the hood.

Did you just get the 4 switches? There is a wire harness that you need that runs over to the glovebox area.
