just forget about it. if you really want to blow some smoke get a tuner otherwise leave it alone this is what gives diesels a bad rep.

If 28 is old then yes, I am a grumpy old man.

But the thing about smoke switches is that 99% of the time you are putting out smoke for no reason other than to be cool......thats it. The other 1% you are using smoke to facilitate a tactical movement from a hostile area.......but seriously!!!

I just see it as more reason for the EPA and the like to futher restrict our rigs on emissions. Its funny that everyone complains about the crappy emission stuff yet we still are fine with people putting switches in their rigs to purposly put out smoke for no reason......

I installed that switch, but just for the exhaust sound. With my strait pipe it gets loud when I flip it at a stop light pisses the ricers off, makes em want to race, silly kids. But my truck is stock so no smoke.

Those of us who try to keep from pissing people off by blowing smoke do it to prevent the DOT, EPA, and local law enforcement from cracking down on diesels. That makes us grumpy ole men?

I guess that makes those who think rolling coal is cool a bunch of immature, punk a$$ kids.

Don't get me wrong -- I'll happily smoke a person riding my rear bumper. Moderation is the key to keeping a smile on your face and the law off your back.

Do some searching on this site and others and see how most diesel enthusiasts feel.
