Looking for a NAV/DVD Head unit

I am looking to upgrade my stereo in my 05 F-250 Quad Cab and starting out with a decent head unit. Any suggestoins that may fit without cutting or having to use a Flip out type unit?

You can get double dins in no cutting or anything in the 05+ trucks, its the 99-04 trucks that need modified to work

I also have the Alpine IVA 203 in my 2005 F250. Its not bad, especially since the prices have really dropped in the last 6 months on this model. If you can afford more, the new Alpine models are are quite a bit more polished and have better graphics.

My head unit has been pretty much flawless, but the NAV/Bluetooth module has been replaced 3 times under warranty.

Make sure to get the aftermarket module that lets you play your DVDs even when the parking brake is not on.

Check out crutchfield.com... Pioneer has a pretty good deal on one of their double din decks, with navi built in, and Ipod control. I went with a kenwood DNX-9960 but before that I had an alpine IVA-D310. Very nice unit but like you stated you diddnt want, it was a flip out monitor. You could always check out onlinecarstereo.com for deals on double din decks as well. Good luck with your purchase. oh btw Alpines bypass for the parking brake can be bought on ebay for around 30 bucks. Kenwoods all you have to do is tie the parking brake wire to ground. As far as pioneer goes, Im not sure on how they work

I have the pioneer unit and love it. Got all the attachments (parking brake bypass, ipod connection, av connection, XM module, and steering wheel controls) and it took some time to do it with all those add ons. But well worth it.
