Adding cruise control to an 07 F250

Ive seen lots of posts on adding cruise. Most of them say all I need is a cruise equipped steering wheel, clock spring and a computer update. When I go to the dealer they say there is no cruise "kit" for my 07. Is the process for the 05 and 06 the same as the 07? If so... why no kit? And.. when I do pop the column apart will there be a harness to plug the steering wheel into?

Mine is a very base model XL

Thanks...

Jake

it's pretty easy to do. You need 2 bricks with strings tied to them. One brick is bigger than the other. Smaller brick is for 65 mph and the bigger is for 70.

Well my 2 foot level wedged between the seat and the petal has been doing an alright job, just not very legal. There has to be some one that has done this on the 05-07 6.0Liters.

I posted same question in a different forum and got some good advice. They only have one forum for the 6.0 but I believe it means more eyes on the forum each day than one that is so broken up, like this one.

Good luck.
