Id also like to know, i dont want to pull the dash off

why do you want to pull it? to install a aftermarket one? if thats the case you will need to pull the dash anyway. i would pull it either way, its just clips, just pull. takes like 2 min to remove.

And a bit of finesse to get it past the shifter on the column. I tilted the steering wheel all the way down, pressed the brake, and shifted down to L1 in order for it to clear.

You can get the tool at Walmart... and thers no need to pull the dash to put in an aftermarket stereo.

In the 05 ups, YES you have to remove the dash, in an 04, just got to walmart and they sell DIN radio removal tools, they are little U-shaped metals pieces you stick into the holes on the face of the radio, apply pressure outward, and pull. boom, radio out!
