Head unit with gauge display??

I've been thinking about getting one of those fancy head units with the navigation, DVD and all the bells and whistles. But i was wondering if anyone has heard of a head unit like that that would show information from the truck, like like an insight or the livewire that plugs into the OBDII. i haven't seen anything like that but havent really looked around much so if anyone has seen anything like that id appreciate it.

To my knowledge there arent any head units that work like those do. I think it would be really cool, but not enough of a market, since they mass produce the headunits to work in any double din. Would be really cool. For just a nice indash, I would check out kenwood. They make the best...and most expensive. Alpines are real nice as well.

alright thanks ill have to take a look at em id like to get subs too but i dont know my azz from my elbow when it comes to audio

I think you 07 will have a little more room for subs than my 02 does, but I have 2 Rockford Phosgate P3 shallow mount 12" subs with a kicker 750.1(i think this is the amp, i forget) and a pioneer headunit, polk MOMO coaxial door speakers.

I would go with kicker if you can, I really like the stuff they make.

yeah ill have to see if i can find anything it might be tricky since its an ext. cab your truck has to hit hard as hell with 2 12s in it

it would be pretty cool to have that laptop affect on the head unit.

i dont think you will find one that gives you much more than mph (gps)

It sounds real good, but doesnt hit as hard as you'd think since they are shallow with a real small box.
You will actually have more room in your truck than I do in mine, in the crew cabs you have to put them behind the seat (not much room) since there is no room under the seat. in your truck you can get them under your rear bench. Had a friend with 2 10" Kicker comp VR's in a sealed box and i think it was 400watts and it sounded real nice.

My little brother replaced the backseat in his 94 F150 with a dual snail ported sub box with 2 12" Kicker comp VR's and has 750watts, sounds INSANE!

My AVIC Z3 does, Vehicle Performance: Speed, Lateral G Force, Acceleration, Slope Angle, Angular Velocity, Battery Voltage.

I mainly use it to see what my actual speed is (bigger tires) since its GPS driven.
