Door ajar sensor?
Has anyone repaired this themselves? Is it worth it to take it to the dealer for this. My door ajar light stays on even when I drive. Where is the sensor located at?

When I bought my '03, the passenger side switch was missing. I bought a new one from Ford (I forget how much, so let's say $30) and installed it. It gets installed in the door latch. From reading up on this, you can spray wd-40 down in the latch area of each door, then open and close to lubricate the switch. I've heard this works.

Yup it worked. I used Liquid Wrench silicone spray. I drenched all 4 doors. At first it didnt work, but the more I used my truck and got in and out I think the spray worked into the latch. Thanks again for helping me out. I was afraid I would have to replace the sensor.
