LED Taillight Question
I installed some LED bulbs when I put my smoked factory taillights on the other day. They look great, but I have one problem. When I use the turn signals, the lights blink real fast, just like they do when you have a bulb go out. It does it on both sides. So I'm wondering if I need some sort of different flasher or something to work the LED's correctly. These are the bulbs I put in:

because the filament is broken when your turn signals go out, that is what causes the fast blinking. LED's have no filament therefore your truck thinks there is no turn signal and is making it blink fast to let you know you have a blown bulb. You can purchase a resistor to put in line that will take care of the problem. you have to complete the circuit from hot to ground.
its not your LED bulbs, it happens when you put ANY LED bulbs in. By the way, where did you get those? they look awesome! |

I actually had a guy throw them in for free when I bought a set of taillights. I also put these LED backup bulb "towers" in:

No, the wings of the light fold to the center to form a cylinder. Then once you put it through the opening, the spring back open to form the star pattern. |

So those fit right in?

yep, fold the wings to the center, hold them while you slid it through the factory bulb opening, and when it slides in they open back up. |
