Airbag light
I have an 04 F250 with 70k miles. At about 40k I started getting a flashing airbag light. The truck was still under warranty at the time and I had it into 2 different dealerships about 9 times for repair. The driver's side seatbelt pretensioner had a bad sensors which was replaced at least 3 times. One morning when I went to start the truck the pretensioner blew and sucked the seatbelt into the panel and it disabled the seatbelt. After a long fight with FMC and hiring a lemon law attorney, Ford agreed to finally fix the problem and pay me 12k to keep the truck. I had the option of a buyback but due to the money I had in my truck I chose to let them fix it. They finally said they found a pinched wire at the harness on the firewall, and this seemed to fix the problem for almost a year. The light has recently returned and comes on every time I drive the truck. It is once again throwing a code for the seatbelt pretensioner. Does anyone have any suggestions on a probable fix. Sorry for the long post, but I am really frustrated.
