headlight bulbs....help

Mmmmkay. My factory bulbs just aren't bright enough for me.

1. What bulb does my 05 F250 use?
2. Any suggestions on good brand/line of replacement bulbs?
3. Any suggestions on good replacement headlight assemblies? Someone backed a trailer into my truck and broke the plastic tabs on my right headlight. Sits solid and functions, but I'm anal about it so need to replace it. Pics of better looking aftermarket lights on you truck are appreciated.

bulb number is 9008 also known as h13 get some hids and you will have a smile on your face. They are about the same price if not cheaper than a good headlight bulb

I was told H13 before but never could locate anything.....9008 may be the way to go.

Educate me on the HIDs....and cost. I have no prob spending around $100-150 right now. Would spend more but my black rifle disease is expensive to keep at bay.

For HIDs, contact Stealth-Automotive. They are a site sponsor Raul@stealth-automotive is the guy, he can hook you up. You are looking around 150 to 170 depending on the setup you want. I am waiting on mine to come in the mail as we speak

im not sure how to school you on them. But if you dont know what the are, if you see new cars with a blue headlights they are hids. They are brighter than the stock lights in everyway.

Sent him a message thru his site......any preferences of 6000k v. 8000k...or low beam only v. Halogen or xenon?.....and need HD relay?

From the looks of it this could start getting expensive quick.

I like the 6k it is white with a hint of blue Too blue of a light and IMHO they dont perform as well in the rain or bad weather.'

I would get the bi/halogen kit from raul and you don;t NEED the relay setup, but its nice to have.

Or if you choose to go another route, I'd recommend Silverstar's. Huge improvement over stock bulbs and a very simple replacement.

ok....I'm not big on the blue headlights, white is fine as long as I can see better at night.

Just curious, what does the relay do that makes it nicer?

just for a comparison for you, here are a couple pics, first one is stock bulbs in my 05, 2nd one is my BFXenon 8k HIDs. they are another sponsor on here and I won my setup in a contest he ran.
