Upgrade the Tunes?!

Heya. Posting bout what can be done to improve the Stock Radio / Speakers?!

Would just replacing all the Speakers and keeping the Stock Head Unit work? I don't want no Sub or nothing Major... Just not so Bland of Music.

Many folks like the Infinity Kappa 6x8's in the doors. I think it is what I am going to go with myself.

I got a EXT Cab Long Bed F-250 XLT... So fromnt and back 4-6x8's?

I am not sure. Some websites have online guides you can consult as for sizing. I know my 2003 F350 Crew Cab uses 4 - 6X8's. 5X7's and 6X8's (NOT 6X9's) are supposed to be interchangeable.

Yes. 6x8s are what your looking for. If you want very clean crisp distortion free sound you will need to amp them with a 4 channel door speaker amp. You would be very suprized how much better the stock speakers sound amped. I ran my stock rears in my 01 for a long time with about 60 watts per channel running to them from my door speaker amp. The sound as good as my pioneer 3 way 6x8s lol. Look into a door speaker amp if your digging that deep. a basic deck from bestbuy with a decent four channel amp (75 watts per channel x4 channels) to even the stock door speakers will ROCK compared to the 12 watt stock system...
