Hi all,
My reverse lights and backup beeper dont work. Owners manual doesnt show the location of reverse light fuse(s) (shows everything else). Where is it? Could it be some other problem with the reverse circuit? I have a 2005 E-350 6.0L powerstroke cube van. Thanks! Larry |

On my 2003 6.0 with the torqueshift, the PCM gives the signal for the backup lights, it triggers a relay in the central JB, the relay draws power from fuse 8 in the CJB and outputs it to the trailer reverse realy, parking aid module, and the reverse lamps.
So there is no switch for the reverse lamps. It is a signal from the PCM. |

Could fuse 8 in fusebox be blown? What about this reverse relay you mention, couldnt that be dead? Do you know where it is located?

it could be fuse 8 in the CJB, (the fuse box by your left leg under the cover) there is also a removable relay in there that could be bad. I forget the number 112 or something like that. You could swap a few around to check, maybe one of the trailer light relays?? It will be in your manual. Backup lights.
Yank the fuse 8 and check first. |
