Okay, question for all of y'all that use the Insight. Is the "Module Volts" the voltage of the batteries, alternator, or what??

Its what the PCM is seeing from the Alternator. You should be seeing low volts 10.8-12.5 during GPCM cycle...approx 1-1.5 minutes...then 13.?and up.

Thats what I was thinking and scared of. I am only seeing upper 12s at most. It will sometimes get into the 13s but its like 13.09

I tested my alternator and it was showing 14.2ish. So why are they different

what the same time when you were testing? you should see the same on both ends. unless the gps just turned off.

There may be some parasitic draw on amps from something before the pcm gets its reading from the alt?

What kind of volts are you seeing while driving?
