Dimming my gauge lights?

I was just wondering i hate how bright my pillar gauges are and when i dim them with the dash lights its still bright and i cant see my speedo ect. my question is can you put a second dimmer in the pillar to dim them down again?

autometer makes a dimmer.. what type of gauges do you have?

sweet i have autometer pillar gauges, does it just mount up in the pillar?

i woudnt mount it on the dash... i woudl set it to how you want it and mount it under the dash so you cant see it... looks like this : Auto Meter if your interested i can pm you a price on it

forgot to add that this is for LED's.... not sure what kind of gauges your running
