AVIC D3

So I just got my 2003 f350 and installed my AVIC-D3 double din radio last night. Everything works great just gotta work on the fit and finish, i trimmed the pieces on the top so it would fit but there is still a nice little gap on either side. I ordered this kit of ebay Ford F150 F250 F350 1999-03 Double Din Stereo Dash Kit - eBay (item 230400970274 end time Nov-21-09 14:22:54 PST)

Anybody else used this and will it solve the problem i have or do I need to take it to a shop and get piece custome made. Thanks!

That is the wrong kit. That kit is to convert from a double DIN opening to a single DIN

How you figure?

"This kit contains everything need to convert your Factory Radio Opening To (2) Single ISO (Audio/Video Components) or (1) Double din Radio."

Looks to me like if you are using it for double din then the middle piece just snaps out.
