tweeter locations
just bought some alpine type r two way speaker with tweeters and external cross overs just wondering where is a good place to mount the tweeters? i want to mount them flush. pictures would be awesome.

i put mine in the doors right next to the mid. it might not be the best place in the world as far as acoustics go. but for normal listening and stero comps but it works great for me. i just used a hole saw a tad smaller then the tweeter and used a file to make the hole a little bigger at a time. i'd put the tweet in and check the fitment. that way it is a really snug fit.

Get the OEM tweeter enclosures and mount them on the door frame

The 08's mount them in the a piller, foe probally better acoustic's

I mounted mine in the doorpanels just above the speakers and they sound great!

i would mount them in the a pillar but i have a 4 gauge pillar pod. really like them in front of the mirror switch but i will probably put them above the speaker. thanks for the pics.
