Reverse Lights

Hello everybody. I am having a problem with my reverse lights blowing out bulbs. I am on the third set in 2 weeks and they have blown as well. The backup sensors seem to be acting a little strange to. Turning themselves on/off, I leave them off all of the time. Is this a common issues? I am assuming there is a short somewhere but, thought I would ask here before tearing into wiring harnesses. It is a '06 250 PSD lariat cc short bed. All stock except for the cat is deleted. Thanks

Rob

Man. I gotta say I was hoping for a little more info when I checked in. Looks like it is going to be a lot of work tracing wires tomorrow. So much for archery hunting.

Thanks for your reply Acamp.
