High Idle Mod

Here is the link for the high idle mod I am trying to do. I can not find the blue/yellow wire that is suppose to be behind the park brake release. In the link if you click on the page 199 ling it shows there to be 8 wires there. I only see 7 on my truck. Am I missing something, or does this only work on some trucks?

Is that wire used somewhere else to bump up the idle when its cold?

Its there, mine was on the backside of the wire lume, took me a minute to find it also, but its there. Although I found mine for no other reason than to find it, as I am a six speed and it didnt work, or at least I couldnt get it to work anyway.

I emailed dan the guy that did the write up and he was not sure if the Excursion had it or not. I stripped the wire lume back about 2" and did not find it. maybe i should go back further.

ah.....didnt even look to notice that you in a xcursion. I am not sure about that either. I am still trying to find things on these trucks myself, it just so happened that I had located that one already, good luck.

Oh, how do you like the extreme street tune, I just got my tunes yesterday, and am on street now, but I have extreme street also, just havent used it yet, is there a big difference between the two?

yes its awsome. I run on extreem street all the time (except towing)
its a very good tune, it pulls hard and keeps pulling, just run it you will see what i mean.
