key wont turn, stranded..

Need some advice / help, key will not turn, I have someone bringing a new tumbler and getting it keyed.. Question is how hard is it to switch out?? Looks like its only kept in by one spring pin?

sometimes if there is pressure on the steering wheel lock assembly in the column from parking with wheels turned or in a rut or etc, the lock assembly will not turn and will not let you start your truck. to fix this just wiggle the steering wheel left and right as you gently turn the key to start your truck.This usually fixes the problem.

If the shift lever isnt fully in park, it will lock the ignition also. Took me 30 mins to figure that one out one day in dunkin donuts parking lot.........lol
