Cruise is not working

I just bought this truck and the cruise does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

Yea, I did check them and the tail light too. Those were the only things that I would know to check from searching.

Do you have access to a scanner/ diagnostic tool that can check the switches and codes?

check your left rear bulbs, brake turn and tail.

OK I'm a little slow but how does the tail light affect the cruise?

Bring it in for the cruse recall, then play dumb if it doesn't work after saying that it worked before. LOL

I like your way of thinking. But I don't think the 06 was part of the recall. I checked my vin and it didn't come up.

I am assuming that the system uses the lights/switchs for ground to shut of the cruise control. My jeep has some wierd wiring like that.
