Ok I give up I need help with the factory switches

I have a 07 with the factory switches on the dash for accessories. Here is what i am doing. I put a dvd player in the dash and I need a switched source to simulate the parking brake. I would like to use the factory toggle switch....but I am not sure how they are wired. I basically need a switch wired to ground that can be turned off and on.
Can anyone shead some light????
Thanks

Pull you fuse panel - As I recall it's just four screws. Behind it is a wire bundle with some capped wires -

Aux-1 is Orange/Green, Aux-2 is Orange, Aux-3 is Orange/Yellow, Aux-4 is Orange/Blue

Yes - just hook your hot wire to the desired toggle and you're good to go.

I believe you can just ground the parking wire to the ground of the dvd player. No need to waste an aux switch. Hit up the local car audio shop, not a Best Buy or Circuit City.

Heh....I'm confused I guess and not smart enough to help here. I'm sure someone who knows more about it will be along shortly.

I assume you need to simulate the parking brake to get around the built in safety to prevent the driver from watching movies while the vehicle is moving. If this is the case, why couldn't you just permanently ground that wire?

If you absolutely need the switch, you need to find the power wire to your upfitter switch, cut it and make it a ground instead. That should get the job done.
