Is there a site or does anyone know the color codes for the +/- speaker wires in the cab of an 07 crew cab? I want to add some better thump and what not, and I would like to know the correct colors for the pos. and neg. hookups??

Thanks in advance!

You may want to check to see if you have a premium sound system first. Also are you just replacing the factory speakers or are you replacing all of the stereo system. If you are replacing the whole system with all aftermarket. You can get easy hook up kit. That supply's you with a pg tail so you do not have to hack up the factory harness, just hook up the new radio harness to the pig tail and plug it into the factory radio harness, you can pick up these kits from best buy or any car audio store. The days of the old way where you had to cut off the wire plugs to hook up a diferent car stereo is a thing of the past. Also you can get a chiltons or a haynes repair manual from any auto parts store for your truck that will have a wiring diagram in the back of it.

Side note, if your just replacing the speakers, you can get the same type of easy hook up wiring kit that plugs into the factory speaker connectors and the kit will tell you which one is positive and negative. I suggest going with one of these easy hook up kits as if you ever decide to sell the truck you can reinstall the factory stereo and speakers with in a couple hours.

I hope I have helped you out some on this matter.

good ideas! Thanks!

Where do you get the easy hook up kits? I plan to keep the stock 6 disc in dash but add speakers in stock locations...

Online you can check crutchfield. If your just going to replace your speakers when you put the new ones in hook them up before you install them turn your stereo on and check to see if the wires are hooked up right. You will know by the way the speaker sounds if they are on backwards reverse them and install the speakers.

Cruthfield include a free wiring harness for the speakers and the receiver if you purchase from them. You'll still have to purchase the receiver mounting kit, but they're cheap.
