TBC questions

Hey all, I just completed a 3800 mile trip with no issues but one that creeped up in Nebraska. When traveling at highway speeds 50mph plus and I apply the brakes I get a "Trailer Fault" message on my display. It won't display this at lower speeds or backing into sites, driving around campgrounds and so on. It only comes on when I apply the brakes. My truck is a 2006 F-250 with the factory installed brake controller system. I don't know if the issue is with the truck or the trailer. Please help in diagnosing this issue.

check your connections at the socket first, make sure there's no moisture and your pins are making good contact. some use a little dielectric grease on them.....

Only time I've seen that message on the cluster was when I had a problem with my trailer brakes. The problem was with the trailer and not the truck.
