If you have a test light or a voltmeter check for power at the end of the red wire which should be like 4gauge wire with that amp, then check for power at your power cable that turns your amp on from your deck. Then check your ground wire by placing the red lead to your 4gauge wire and the black lead to your ground. If your amp is getting power from the main power line and from your deck wire and your ground is still good, then your amp is bad.

Thanks guys for the help and info !!!
Had it check out with a voltmeter and all is good going to the amp fuses are good .
My setup is factory radio with 2 10's the amp with a knob that adjust how much bass I want. That knob has a light on it which is out as well , the amp power light is off as well . I'm going to check and see if it has internal fuse if not then it's a goner lol doesn't smell burnt ...
also there's no reset on the fuse that is a huge one at that //

Sounds like you overheated the amp and fryed it. Its no big deal, I have fryed two amps in a year. The last amp I bought I kept my reciept this time.

boss are kinda know for shutting off like that. check the fuse under the hood and the connection on the factory radio are you using a line out converter to make RCA'S? the amp should not have any internal fuses. today, its cheaper to replace than to repair. i know it sucks, but that CHINA for ya!!

Yes it does have the converter to make rca's . The huge fuse under the hood is good fuse on the amp itself is good .
