I got it off! I sprayed it again with blaster for the fifth time. Then I put my breaker bar on and had my brother hit it with a hammer. I don't know how it got that tight. There was no dirt or rust around the canister lip either. While I was under there I drained the fuel filter housing too.

I cant get mine to break loose either, I actually broke a large chunk of the nut off the bottom and gave up after that. I dont want to break it anymore and have it leak.

I guess I might have to go buy a new one somewere. If I do then I will be coating the threads with anti seize before screwing the case on.

Sometimes the aluminum will gum up with the salt, rain and road grime. I have had to use the acid rim cleaner to loosen things like that. It is nasty and DO NOT GET IN YOUR EYES. But it will eat the corrosion away and loosen it up.
