Second gear shutter

06 f250 6.0 auto trans 4x4 fx.
I am starting to notice a shutter when the trans shifts to second gear under mild to hard acceleration. It usually is gone before the third gear shift.
Would appreciate any advice.
I am considering adding positive traction friction modifier.
I am the second owner of the truck. It is all stock from what I know and has never had a tuner. I do believe he had a fifth wheel on it.
Did know the guy and the truck was sitting for a year before i got it.
Thanks
Richard

Does anyone know it the TC locks up after the shift to second gear?
I wonder if it is the TC not the second gear clutches.

Converter locks in at 4-5. Unless you are in tow haul or have a Sat custom program. Mine does it when its cold and pulling a 10k trailer

The converter only locks in 6th gear with a stock tune. If you had a monitor you could see it slip in "D" gear 1, 2, 3, 5 as soon as you add a power. The slips in the lower gears are to protect the transmission from torque multiplier strain.
