Trans not shifting after pulling
In short, I went to pull a semi (empty) out of a snow bank and after some pretty agressive jerks I decided the stroke was not enough to get it out. I got on the main road and the truck would not shift out of 2nd. I finally pulled over, shut it down and waited a minute and restarted and then the trans shifted fine.
2 questions, 1st did I hurt the trans and 2nd why wouldand I am guessing this was the problem, the computer lock up in gear like that? It shifted from 1st to 2nd but would not shift to 3rd. |
