6.0 liter tranny shift issues

I have an 2006 6.0. I put a Hypertec programmer in with air intake and exhaust. I am having issues with it down shifting out of OD to accelerate. If I am cruising around 50 mph. The issues is when the the rpm are between 1500 and 2000. The truck shakes till I step on it to down shift. Any thoughts??

Been there......Lose the Hypertech and call Innovative Diesel and order an SCT X3 and custom tunes. That will tune your trans and your engine so they are in sync. Fixed my shift issue!

The programmer should not make it do that. You can select that you have a shift kit and it will take out our shift firmness built into the tuning. That would be the only thing I can think of to try.
