OK, Marc is right, Mercon SP..... where???

There is no Amsoil in Australia..... And no Mercon SP on this little island!!! Ford Australia does not want to know me as they only have the Brazilian Fords, with the 4R100 tranny....

Of course I get the feeling Ford Australia could not find their a** with both
hands anyway...

What just about EVERYBODY here uses is Castrol..... Mercon SP ? No of course not... No cross reference..

So, anybody have any ideas without me getting too radical??? We have BP products here, Marc or Powerstroke Techies, anybody have a cross reference to some other source that would do?

I would hate to think I have to fly the bloody stuff in here, what a bloody hassle!!

Oh well, it is still worth the minor problems to live on the last Frontier...!

Ranger in Oz...

Perhaps you should become the Amsoil rep for Australia! If you think their products would sell, it might be a cheaper way for you to get their great products.

Hey HillBilly, we be Cousins!!!!!:beer2:

Yes, goes to show you have good taste in picking that Rig!!

When it all gets here, and I get a Da** Bigg Bull Bar and 15,000 lb winch on the front for banging into Toyotas on... Better reinforce the air bag wrinkles in the chassis huh? Maybe Light Force metal halide big running lights, to find Toyotas hiding in the brush...

Any way, when I get the Lift kit installed I will get pictures. I already am running: Solar system, third battery system, fridge in the back, Edge Juice with Attitude Platinum, 185 lt extra tank, when I get it finished I will post pictures.. ! Should look OK.... Cat Delete Pipe coming as well...

Cheers from down under Cousin!!

Not sure what part of Austrailia you are in. Have you tried any performance Shops in Sydney? Grame Cowin has a place. I think its in or at 5 Dock in Sydney. He imports alot of race and performance items. DP

Thanks for that, I will check it out. I think I have a case of Mercon SP coming from DPP, and will probably do that at least through the first change. Pending how easy it is to get after, if it is still difficult I will probably change over to Amsoil Synthetic ATF which was just upgraded to exceed the specs of Mercon SP according a recent Distributor Flyer... Cheers from Oz..
