will not shift out of o/d?

Going to look at this truck some time this week, and in the add it says that the trans sifts good all the way up to o/d then when you slow down it will not shift out of o/d unless the truck is shut down and restarted again. It is an 03 f350 6.0 with 250k miles on it, Im just wondering what could cause this, is it most likely that it needs a rebuild or is it probably a solenoid or maybe even the wrong fluid?

Most likely needs a new tranny. Sounds like it is in limp mode.
