Urgent Help : Multiple Transmission Codes

Hey All,

So last weekend I noticed when I backed up and shifted to drive there was a slight delay. Didn't think much of it at the time. Then the next day I was driving home and I was going around 35 mph and my truck fell straight into a neutral feeling. I left off the gas, then eased back onto it and it came back on but then disengaged again. Then I had the Tow Haul light flashing. Immediately pulled over and parked it.

Took it to the dealership and they "diagnosed" it as needing a new tranny. They pulled the codes of P0722, P2703, and P0765. They told me that it would be best to just replace the tranny. But it's easier for him to say that when he is not footing the $5500 bill. Or they can dig into and try to find the problem but I may still end up needing a tranny.

I have been reading here a lot this week and think it could be the same issue of only needing to replace the solenoid, valve cover, and wire harness. This would be a huge savings at coming in under $1000.
Does anybody have any idea as to what my best option is. I am having AAMCO Transmission take a look at it tomorrow and then deciding between the two.

I appreciate the help.
