Transmission whining noise
2007 F450 with 15,000 miles on it still runs and acts like a new strong truck just recently the driver said the auto transmission is noisy and whining. I test drove it, checked the fluid, ok bright red, still factory new. Loud whining noise starts low at 20mph louder to 40 mph and stays the same on up, even on cruise control. Take your foot off and coast, the noise goes away.
Driveshaft has normal freeplay, tires, steering, alignment ok. Calling the dealer tomorrow to see if anyone else is having the saem problem. any ideas? |
