Pop noise on decell.

After driving at cruzing speed, say 50-60. When i slow down to come to a stop light say at 10mph, There is a loud pop, clunk, some sort or knoise from the trannie. Its felt throught the hold cab. Another thing i have noticed is when under WOT the trannie feels like it slips when shifting but only when it tryes to go into 2nd gear. Like right before it shift it feels like it goes into nuturel and just stays at redline but doesnt keep xcelrating. i have to back out of it to get it to shift. The only mod is the 18K, and i have tracked it down to when i turn the 18K up, It only happends when its turned up. So does any one have anyideas?? I called marc last night but im sure he was asleep it was reallly late. bout 2 here. so midnight there.

I was gonna say check your U-joints and carrier bearring but it kinda sounds like you got a tranny gear fixin to go south on you.
Still i would check for any wiggle in the U-joints and carrier bearing just to rule that out.

Even a brand new Carrier bearing has wiggle in it. The support insert on the CB is made of rubber. Does sound like the tranny though.

Let us know what you find out....

Well i called the dealer that my dad knows he said no matter what it is i will replace it free of charge. I was like I asked him so what if the tranny needs to be replaced? He goes no problem we will have it done for ya and if thats the case we have a new tranny here at the shop, we could get it in and get it out for ya ASAP. Then it hit me why he is being so kind and will do something thats not under warriety anymore. My father is the owner of a bank. Well the owner of this ford dealer came to my father and asked for some crazy amount of like 6 million sollars to buy this said dealership. So my father did it, well long story short its been like 8 months and still no payment, my father droped the sue bomb and now he is sucking my LOL. He is SO verry willing to help me out.
