How do you change you tranny fluid….Please help newbie…
I need help fast I just changed my tranny fluid but I don’t think I have the right amount in there and I’m taking a 1000 mile trip in few days.
I changed the oil filter first then I drained oil from the oil pan only (I did not do full flush). 6qt of oil came out of oil pan…. When I put 6qt back it looked to low,,,, I kept measuring and adding now I have 9qt in there but it looks too much and sometimes it looks normal I have no idea. That dipstick is so tricky. Can someone give me step by set how they do it, how much they put in and how they measure it when truck is cold and hot. My Truck is 2005 6.0 Diesel F250 Automatic Any help appreciated.
