Man bummer! I feel you on the paying cash thing. I did for my truck, and luckily it has been worth it. I also did the same on a brand new concrete pump. Never got my money back out of that one.

Wonder what a used junk yard tranny would cost? maybe that would be a good way to get you up and running asap? or just do the jb weld.

Well the trans and transfer case is officially out. And getting ready for Sun Coast rebuild and converter. In the next few days. I would have to say the trans job was a lot easier than i thought it was gonna be. Started on it at 6pm and all tools and and parts were put away and done by 7:30pm not bad at all.. Can't wait for new trans to be done.

Yes me and a buddy. Everything went smooth i couldn't believe it. I took transfer case off while it was in the truck so i think that made it a little easier too..
