I need help

Can anyone get information on my warranty coverage? The VIN on my truck is 1FTSW21P15EC80908 then relay the information back to me. I thought it had an extended tranny warranty but I guess not. I have 50K miles. The truck has been at Ford for 4 weeks and they haven't done much. I went in today and ask about it and they said I don't have a tranny warranty anymore and they are trying to get me a new PCM under engine warranty to see if that fixes the problem but the techs that are in charge of that are at school this week. I can't figure out why they didn't do this last week. It's had 5 trannys still the same problem and the latest tranny has a new problem and is only 14K miles old. I'm going back to Ford tomorrow to get the truck and tell them when they get their **** together I'll bring it back.

How many miles are on your truck? I would definetly think that if it's on its' 5th tranny that it would be covered under the warrranty because it has had the problem for so long. Something else is goin on there and it's not just a trans problem. It's not your fault they didn't fix it right the first 4-5 times when it was under warranty, so why should you have to foot the bill. Just my I would also start looking for another place to take it. They obviously don't take much stock in "customer service" if they didn't bother to call you and let you know what was goin on with your truck.

Truck has 50K miles. If I want to be a turd I could tell them to list the ticket as a "recheck". They aren't working on the actual tranny itself. Now they are working on other componets like the transmission electronics hence the PCM that they've been working on getting for a couple of weeks. I've taken vehicles to this place for years and I have a good relationship with them but if they would update me every couple of days I wouldn't be upset.
