tuners with tranny

i have a 2003 6.0 f-350 and running edge evolution with a straight piped 4in tubo back exhaust. I was just wondering if my stock tranny would be alright with that????? And i was also wondering if i got the sct instead of runing the edge if it would be alright then???? and info is greatly appreciated

You will be ok for a while but i would recommand getting tranny upgrades. I have a dp tuner on my truck and its now startin to slip. Get some upgrades you will be happy you did especialy with the SCT and some custom tunes. Goodluck.

Ive been lookin gto upgrade my stock tranny with kits to handle 500-600 horsepower but i cant find them anywhere

With the torqshift you should be just fine without upgrades... Most people say that the torqshift will hold up to about 500 rwhp in stock form... anything over modding the tranny will be needed

Id just rebuild it if your lookin at those kind of numbers. New torque convertor,valve body, clutches, ect. Look at Suncoast, John woods. You could get a new tranny also.
You will need it for those #s though. Im goin through the same thing right now.

yea well lets say im wanting to hold 500.... ive looked at suncoast but all ive found there was whole trannys and im just looking to beef up my own

I just looked and they have a rebuild kit for the 5R110.
